Original Toronto Star caption: Anne Millyard; 48; and Rick Wilkes; 25; are teaching children how to recognize and cope with feelings of racism by having the youngsters participate in story telling. They conduct rap sessions in Metro schools and libraries under their non-profit organization called Working With Kids. One teaching method they use is to begin a story about people of different races and let the children provide their own endings. They have found that the process helps children identify and clarify their feelings about others of many different backgrounds.
