Original Toronto Star caption: Futuristic motor has no moving parts. This ungainly rail cart resembles the hand-pumped models of the late 19th century but in fact could be an important development in future transit. The cart; being tested by SPAR Aerospace Products Ltd. on a 1;250-foot track near Caledonia Road; features a linear induction motor with no moving parts that is likely to be used in the provincial government transit system. Here mechanic Ernie the cart; which has bit a speed of 50 miles an hour. [Incomplete]
