Original Toronto Star caption: The Polar bear roams the south; Cars of the Polar Bear Express; the Ontario Northland Railway train between North Bay and Moosonee; stop in Oakville to pick up Go train passengers. The Polar Bear summerstock cars are easing the rush-hour crush on GO lines; ridden by 20;000 persons a day; 75 per cent of them in rush hour. It was 14;000 a day in 1967; when the service started. Another 10-to-15-per-cent increase is expected.
