Hundreds of pets were blessed by Right Rev. A. A. Read; Bishop Suffragan of Toronto. Awaiting turn was Rev. J. G. Lee; rector; with his chihuahua; Ricky.

Religious ceremonies were held in several locations across Metro; including the International Centre in Mississauga; above; where thousands of the faithful bowed in prayer as part of the ancient tradition.
