Original Toronto Star caption: The morning after: Women walk to work past the rubble left after a night of rioting in the predominantly Catholic Falls Road area of Belfast. The riots broke out after the death of IRA hunger-striker Bobby Sands but British troops have been able to contain the violence so far. Sands; who was fasting in an attempt to win political status for jailed IRA guerrillas; is to be buried tomorrow and new rioting is expected after the funeral at the end of a three-day mourning period.
