Original Toronto Star caption: One of the oldest schools in South Peel; 57-year-old Forest Avenue Public School in Port Credit; will be demolished this month to make way for a new school. While it is being built; the 300 pupils; in kindergarten to Grade 6; will be taken by bus to other schools; most of them within two miles. Construction of the new school is to start by June 15 and to be completed by Jan. 1.
