Shopkeepers did hectic business at the opening of the $30 million Fairview Mall shopping centre yesterday at Sheppard Ave. E. and Don Mills Rd. Crowds jammed every one of the 3;600 spaces in the parking lot and thronged through the centre carried by a moving side-walk. There are 104 stores in the new centre.
