Original Toronto Star caption: An 1840 Cemetery, containing 100 graves but few headstones, will be incorporated intact into the parking lot of a new shopping plaza at Warden and Finch Aves. in Scarborough. The last burial was in the 1940s and since then vandals have toppled and broken many of the headstones. Fred Morgan, 93, who has at least seven close relatives buried in the plot, says: it's the best thing that could happen to that cemetery because of the vandalism.
