Original Toronto Star caption: It's spring in a Toronto Park; It's a time for relaxing and letting spring fever seep into your system as the sun - if not the breeze - tells us winter should be over. But spring won't be fooling tomorrow; predicts the weatherman. He promises lots of sunshine and temperatures ranging up to 14C (57F). This was the scene yesterday on a Church St. lawn as a man snoozes undisturbed by passing traffic on nearby Queen St. Works crews are busy whipping Metro's parks into shape; Winter's debris is being swept up; benches; swings and rides are being repainted and facilities checked for damage and repaired. Already; many downtown office workers have started on moonhour tans.
