The child's own alphabet. Cover title and imprint. Decorative cover design and illustrations are engraved on wood by T. Bolton after T.R. Macquoid. Pink cloth cover bears the monogram JC (Joseph Cundall) below the imprint. Publisher's advertisements on outer lower cover. Text is the same as ''King Arthur's alphabet'' illustrated by John Absolon in Cundall's Treasury of pleasure books for young people, published 1855. Illustrated with 24 pictures.
