Original Toronto Star caption: Postage due: $30;000; These 1855 10-penny stamps; depicting Jacques Cartier; were the most expensive items at the Canadian Stamp Dealers Association show at the Metro Convention Centre on the weekend. Holding the mint strip of three; the only one known; is owner John Jamieson of the Saskatoon Stamp Centre. The strip's price is $30;000.
