Original Toronto Star caption: Twister aftermath: Uprooted trees and a demolished cottage mark the path of a tornado that struck near Minden on Monday. The Haliburton-area tornado was the most severe of a number of storms across the province. It damaged 106 cottages and home in the vacation area and officials put damage estimates at a conservative $4 million.
