Original Toronto Star caption: Angry women picket pulls the hair of a worker of the same sex outside the Hamilton Cotton plant today as tempers reached a new high in the second day of fighting between rival CIO and A.F. of L. unions. The quarrel is over union jurisdiction at plant. One hundred and ten policemen were at the plant at dawn to escort CIO unionists through strikers but the A.F. of L. leader vowed he would put more pickets on the line.
