About 235 workers are picketing Midas for higher wages. The workers; members of the United Steelworkers Local 6727; want an increase of $2.50 an hour over two years. The average base wage at the plant is $7.27 an hour. The union last week overwhelmingly rejected the company?s offer of $1.80 an hour over two years.
