Original Toronto Star caption: Into the drink; With temperatures reaching 27C (80.6F) yesterday afternoon; sun bathers on Woodbine Beach found a novel way to cool off when a couple a young entrepreneurs anchored offshore; their boat loaded with soft drinks and foot-long hot dogs. Patrons who waded out to buy drinks got a refreshing dip in the hip-high water for free. Business was fantastic; the vendors said.

Snowmobile sales are expected to reach 250,000 in 1978, figures that should keep manufacturers warm in the long winter nights.
