Original Toronto Star caption: Transplanting a tree is a tough job in any circumstance-but it's a lot harder when the tree is a delicate; 40-foot-high Schwedlerei maple from northern Ontario. The tree is one of two trasnported by trailer to the Yorkville area's Hazleton Lanes shopping mall; where they were lowered into place by crane. The trees were brought here with their roots still frozen-a necessary precaution to keep them alive. The operation is costing the mall's developer about $25;000; he claims.
