Original Toronto Star caption: Many more guns; still on the assembly line; will follow the first six turned out for service yesterday. Here visitors to the plant on the occasion of the dedication service; inspect the assembly line where gleaming barrels lie ready for the Next process. The new gun will form the chief weapon of field artillery units and replaces the 18-pounder familiar to Canadian troops in the first great war. It differs widely from the old gun.
