Original Toronto Star caption: At one time; rules of etiquette decreed that a different type of glass be used for each type of wine served; according to the Wine Council of Canada. Fortunately; times have changed. Today; all you really need is one all-purpose glass designed to make the wine look good and taste its best; says the council. Here are a few tips to simplify your selection. First; a wine glass should be stemmed in order to keep the heat of your hand from interfering with the temperature of the wine. The bowl should be shaped like a ball or an elongated-U; and should narrow a little at the rim. This shape concentrates the bouquet in the narrowed opening and allows you to swirl the wine without spilling it. [Incomplete]
