Original Toronto Star caption: Life gets more interesting for the Dewhirst triplets every day; but today is obviously the most exciting yet. The 7-month-old sisters don't know it's Christmas Eve but they like the idea of the glittering tree that's appeared in the living-room and those gaily wrapped parcels under it have them puzzled. The girls; Christian; Elizabeth and Erin; are the children of Metro Police Sergeant Dick Dewhirst and his wife Gretchen; a former nurse.
