Original Toronto Star caption: The bride wore black; Glen Aitchison; 22; and Barbara Ayles took the plunge into marriage yesterday - literally. A watery ceremony was conducted at the bottom of the pool at the Etobicoke Olympium with bride groom minister (Rev. B.E. Leslie) and a witness-lifeguard in full scuba gear. Microphones enabled guests; watching at an underwater window; to hear the vows. Nothing about it was traditional except the veil.
