Original Toronto Star caption: It was a weekend for weddings in Toronto. Above; teacher Carl Geniole and nurse Maureen Elizabeth McAuly married in St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church. They met while vacationing at their parents' cottages. Centre photo shows Jamaican-born cricketer Clem Lawson and Maureen Hoohing framed in a wedding arch of cricket bats held by Clem's teammates after their St. Stephen's Church wedding. Vivian Aviva Pilar; right; designed her own gown of Swiss lace and distinctive cap veil for wedding to Temple Harris in quadrangle of Hart House.
