Original Toronto Star caption: Mending mechanically: With the help of a motorized arm exerciser, Govindamah Ramsammy, who has been in Canada 10 months, hopes to have her elbow restored to near normal. Ramsammy underwent surgery at Toronto Western Hospital and the arm exerciser was flown in from France. Hour after hour it gently bends and straightens her elbow which was injured in a fall over five years ago.
