Original Toronto Star caption: The patient who's stayed the longest in Riverdale Hospital is David Anderson, admitted in 1956 with polio and needing an iron lung, which he still sleeps in. At one time, there were 40 iron lungs there but now, since development of polio vaccine, Anderson is a rarity. Changes in the hospital have been equally dramatic, but Anderson still has in room a portrait of his daughter Kathleen at age of 10. [Incomplete]
