Original Toronto Star caption: An Airborne traffic COP, OPP Constable John Moore, is ready to take off from Maple with his civilian pilot, Danny Epp, in a chartered plane. Moore files 2,500 feet above marked highways, clocking the time it takes a car to travel a quarter of a mile, and signals to cruisers on the ground which cars are speeding. Studies show aircraft surveillance cuts accidents 50 per cent, the OPP says.
