At the top of her profession for the past three years, Croby's gamine look has graced the editorial and advertising pages of countless local newspapers and magazines. Since being discovered at 17 by former Seventeen magazine beauty editor Andrea Quinn Robinson, Crosby has modelled in Europe for French and Italian Vogue and Italian Harper's Bazaar. Last year, she came back to Toronto, possibly for good, because I was less and less impressed with the artificial world over there, she says. Age: 20. Born: Tuxedo Park, New York. Previous job: High School student at S.E.E.D. alternative school. Favorite designer: Levi Strauss. Dislikes: Smiling, people who don't like pet rats (Crosby owns one).
