Original Toronto Star caption: Photographer Betty Innes (left) checks her equipment before taking off with pilot Shirley Allen on a flying photo mission for the Ontario Ministry of the Environment. Both are members of the First Canadian Chapter. Ninety-Nines, Inc., working as volunteers on Operation Skywatch, a check of pollution in central Ontario. They pay for the aircraft themselves at average cost of about $45 a flight and turn over films to the ministry.
