Original Toronto Star caption: Tough going: Physical fitness is essential, because the men of tactical forces everywhere are called on to do arduous tasks. The Base Borden program includes army-like obstacle courses, which only the fittest survive. The men leave the program in top physical shape. Ten policemen from Amherst, N.Y. and two men from the Caribbean island to Trinidad are currently undergoing training.
