Diane Jennings, 26, is a uniformed patrol officer, who is also a trained breathalyser technician, a training officer and a community service officer. The 6-year veteran of the force received the annual award at a dinner co-hosted by the Oshawa Central Lions Club and the Durham Region Police Association. Jennings talked to concerned women in a Pickering neighborhood after banker Patricia Lopez was found shot April 13.
