Original Toronto Star caption: Famed Musical Ride by Royal Canadian Mounted Police will be back at CNE this season after a three-year absence. Riders also will tour other Canadian and U.S. centres. The thrilling charge with the lances climaxes the exciting performance by the 35-man team. At the seventh annual Scottish games in Toronto, the young Highland dancers below watch wide-eyed while they wait to perform. The monster tattoo which launched the games featured massed military bands, pipers, trumpeters, a crack eight-man army gymnastic group, and a tug-of-war between Toronto police teams.
