Original Toronto Star caption: Blood Flowed yesterday at the annual Toronto Mayor's Blood Clinic at City Hall main floor as donors contributed a total of 1,301 units of blood in 10 1/2 hours, enough to exceed the quota set by the Red Cross. A unit is seven-eighths of a pint. Acting mayor David Rotenberg welcomed donors at the door at 11 a.m., and the first 250 donors got free tickets to Marlborough-Peterborough hockey game.
