Bernhardt beaten

Original Toronto Star caption: Bernhardt beaten: Joel Otto outmuscles Leafs' Al lafrate at the edge of the crease to flip a shot past Leaf goalie Tim Bernhardt to put the Flames up for the first time in the first period; 4-3; after the Leafs surrendered a 2-0 lead. Otto also had tied the score at 2-2; when he was left unchecked at the goalmouth and jammed a Jim Peplinski pass past Bernhardt. Leafs' defence reverted to its old form after about 10 minutes; allowing Flames to roam inside the Toronto zone.
