Original Toronto Star caption: Kaboom!: Shawn Burr of Detroit Red Wings lowered the boom on Maple Leafs left winger Steve Thomas early in last night's match at Gardens. Thomas instigated the collision when he went at Burr behind the Detroit net; but he got the worst of it and was momentarily dazed.
