The fall

Original Toronto Star caption: The fall: Star photographer Doug Griffin caught this action shot of Gilbert Perrault wincing in pain as he tumbled over teammate Wayne Gretzky and twisted his ankle on the boards during the game against Sweden yesterday. Two hours after the game; doctors announced that Perreault had a broken ankle and would be out of competition for at least two months. Gretzky was also injured when he was slashed across the left elbow.
