Bompago made the Queen's Plate triumph look like a replay of the Plate Trial; which Bompago also won with great ease; by five lengths. The win yesterday; by 4 1/2 lengths over Sir Khaled; was worth $151;386. The winning time of 2:04 1/5 was more than two seconds off the Plate record set in 1960 by Victoria Park.
