Original Toronto Star caption: Flat out on luge run; club instructor Bjorn Iversen demonstrates how to achieve top speed on the racing sleds that can reach 80 m.p.h. on Olympic standard runs. There are only 25 competitive lungers in Canada but; under Iversen; a club will be formed this month at Centennial Park for those interested in the sport. A relatively new winter sport; racing luges have been used in world competition only since 1955. The 48-pound racers cost about $350.
