Original Toronto Star caption: Offers no excuse: Yvonne Saunders (centre); hampered by a knee ailment; sprints yesterday to fourth-place finish in 800-metre heat and is eliminated. Saunders took more than three seconds longer than personal best to complete the race; but offered no excuse. She got boxed in and 'just ran bad race.'
