The crowds which throng to the Dufferin St. track to-day will find that the old park benches are gone and that a magnificen twooden stand has taken the place of part of the old one which has seen many a close finish and many a pocket-book emptied. The old steps which led up to the grand-stand have removed and a modern entrance has been provided. Dufferin now has plenty of sheltered accommodation for rainy days; when the horses run in the mud and when the old crowd which filled Dufferin to capacity was forced out into the infield to stand around in wet weather.
