Original Toronto Star caption: They're off; Approximately 350 pairs of running shoes - all sizes and colors - pounded down the boardwalk yesterday in the second annual Beaches Boardwalk run to raise money for the physically handicapped. The four-mile run; organized by the Toronto Grizzlies football team; was won by Greg Lockhart; 25; of Lee Ave. in just over 21 minutes after dodging the dozens of dogs; cyclists and walkers; who refused to give up an inch of their coveted boardwalk.
