Original Toronto Star caption: Linda Levitt and her lawyer husband, Saul, designed and had built a unit to hide and disguise a quadraphonic system consisting of eight separate components plus a television and a record collection of over 200 records. Linda, shown above, really likes things to look neat. Her husband is a self-confessed hifi nut who solved the problem for his home. Part of the secret is deep extra shelves so that components which require no controls are hidden behind books.

Portables fill playground: From the roof of St. Roch Separate School on Duncanwoods Dr. in North York, Metro Separate School Board Chairman Bruno Suppa can see pupils play among 20 portable classrooms that occupy most of the playground. Yet a few streets away, Whitfield Public School is more than half empty. The province is trying to make the public and separate systems co-operate in using available space.
