There was no spotlight on the stage during their performance; the only illumination came from a bank of flashing colored footlights and two strobes.

The veterinary dentist says although many vets will clean animals' teeth, he's the only one in Metro performing a full range of dental services, including braces, fillings and extractions.

He wants money: Dr. Mario Piacenza of the southern Italian town of Altomonte is in Toronto lookin for funds to build a school for peasant children. He's hoping to get it from the parents of the children he's leading here - natives of Alomonte who left their home town for North America. So far, he's visited 7 cities on a 3-month North American tour but has raised only $2,000 of the $20,000 he needs. He's had a picnic with Altomonteans here and plans another one.
