Original Toronto Star caption: Taking the modern approach to bluegrass music. The Allen Brothers entertain at Ontario's first bluegrass festival in Carlisle; north of Hamilton; Saturday before 3;000 people who came form as far as Nashville; Tenn. and Montreal to listen to the high-pitched vocal harmonies and bright instrumental sounds from both American and Canadian singers. Another festival is planned for Niagara Falls Sept. 14 to 16 even though organizers wer disappointed by small turnout.
