Original Toronto Star caption: Bronze bust stolen from lakeshore park; A $5;000 bronze bust of Sir Casimir Gzowski has been stolen from a park named for the exiled Polish engineer at Lake Shore Blvd. W. and Ellis Ave.; police said today. The statue was reported missing by a Toronto Historical Board official who checked the site Tuesday. Gzowski was famous in Toronto in the 1840s as a road; railroad and bridge builder and for designing the park along the Canadian side of the Niagara River at Niagara Falls.
