Original Toronto Star caption: Days are numbered for the railway station at Claremont (above). Economy measures by CP Rail are leading to the closing of the two-storey building; which the railway says is difficult to heat and maintain. It will be replaced by a small concrete block building like the one at Myrtle (below). CP spokesman John Cox said the smaller building is a more suitable structure ..... and geared toward efficiency. Cox says only nostalgia buffs complain about disappearance of old stations.
