Original Toronto Star caption: When a two-mile long ice jam which formed above Walkey's dam at Fergus; Ont.; was released after torrential rains Sunday afternoon; bringing the level of the Grand river to a new all-time high; ice was forced over the banks of the river for a distance of 50 feet. The pictures show: (1) Huge cakes flanking the wall of the Fergus swimming pool on the banks of the river.
