Original Toronto Star caption: This is where the proprietor of Sagamore Hotel hopes to open the first cocktail bar in Mimico. Under liquor laws brought in by the Drew government in 1945, municipalities under 50,000 people can decide by plebiscite whether they want cocktail bars, lounges.
