Original Toronto Star caption: York Mills Baptist Church Celebrates 100th Anniversary. Former pastors and members of York Mills Baptist church gathered yesterday in a happy reunion to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the church.  (1) James Bathgate, Willowdale, clerk of the church since 1896; (2) York Mills Baptist church; (3) Rev. H. B. Comans, the present pastor; (4) the tombstone of Barnabas Bond, the oldest in the churchyard, dated 1839; (5) Miss Sarah Bond, aged 86 years, life-long member of the congregation, and (6) the 100-year-old pewter communion chalice."

The church was built in 1833. It closed in 1944 and was torn down in 1948.
