Lack of accomodation in the town and lack of money and materials for quarters has necessitated a daily bus service to Toronto for the staff. The 20-acre property; once an orphanage and later a C.W.A.C. convalescent depot; the new headquarters opened for business Oct. 1. Maj.-Gen. Chris Vokes is in command with a skeleton staff to operate both reserve and active army units in military districts 1;2 and 3.
