Mayor Paul Cosgrove this afternoon will officially open the $131,000 Junior Olympic size pool. Some 175 families bought $450 shares in the pool plus a $100 repayable debenture. Annual dues are $75. The pool is on Finch Ave. E., between Warden Ave. and Birchmount Rd. on a one-third acre site sold to the club by Scarborough for $1. Eight lifeguards have been hired and there will be a full-time pool manager as well.
