Original Toronto Star caption: A case of lofty symbolism. The symbol of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce started its journey up to 38th floor of the Commerce Court tower yesterday. The sign-24 feet high and 32 feet wide - is one of three to be bolted to the side of the 57-storey building. Each weigh a ton. The court complex is expected to be finished in 1972.
