Original Toronto Star caption: Skidding on bridge ends in hair-breadth escape. Above - view of Don bridge Gerrard St. E., showing where section of the guard rail was carried away by a car driven by Jack Zeran, 286 Mortimer St., when it skidded to edge of the bridge and only stopping when front wheels were hanging over the side of a hundred-foot drop. Neither the driver nor his two passengers suffered injury.
